Below is a list of video encoders. SDI & HDMI. These are the best choices of vidoe encoders to use at this time. Whether it’s HDMI or SDI You’ll need Just 1 transmitter and receiver  (1 set )is all you need. 

HDMI Extender 395Ft over TCP/IP Network

You will need this set TX – RX (Transmitter  – Receiver)

 

For HDMI – Ensure to purchase this (SET) model. The transport protocol is HD Bit T which outputs a better quality video than other cheaper encoders.

SDI Extender over TCP/IP Network

For SDI devices

For SDI – Ensure to purchase this Set -model. The transport protocol is HD Bit T which outputs a better quality video than other cheaper encoders.

HDMI Cables

You’ll need a at least 1 standard HDMI cable for Encoder Receiver (RX) out to switcher or monitor. If you’re using a camera with the TX ensure you have the proper HDMI cable for the camera.

Cat 6 Cable

You’ll need at least 4 for this mission

 

Portability Accessories

These accessiories will enable your transmitter
& or receiver to  be portable.

You don’t have to have these, but they will be convenient in the future.

Go ahead and master the non portable first.

UBNT Radio

First thing youll need to do is configure your UBNT radios and setup a wireless bridge (bridge mode)

Getting access to the antenna interface (Windows / PC)

IF your default IP address of is 192.168.1.1

To check local ip adress of your network, open command prompt then type in “ipconfig” and then hit enter. Your network gateway should be 192.1681.1  If it is, open browser and go to 192.168.1.20 to enter radio settings.

 

 

If your Network default gateway is not 192.168.1.1

Some ISP’s Like Comcast  provide different local IP address. Your default gateway maybe  “10.0.0.1”

If this is the case  plug the UBNT radio directly into your computer to configure instead of  plugging into network router.

and then you must access network and internet settings on your computer and manually set IP address.

For all Intents and purposes you are setting up a wireless bridge.

In a Wireless Bridge 1 side is called “Access Point” This is where theThe Receiver side of video encoder connects to.(Monitor)

In a Wireless Bridge 1 side is called “Station” This is the where The transmitter section 

of video encoder connects to.
